Today, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the project "Construction of a new bridge and rehabilitation of the existing bridge", which will be implemented in the territory of the 4th khoroo of Han-Uul district of the capital with the funds of the soft loan of the Government of China. The existing bridge was first built and put into operation in 1959, and the project included the rehabilitation of the existing bridge, the construction of a new 4-lane bridge, and the construction of a new 2-level ramp bridge with a new junction to be built in front.

One of the main objectives of the four-year action program of the Government of Mongolia and the Governor of the capital is to develop a road, transport, and logistics network that supports economic growth and provides safe and convenient services that meet the needs of society. The client of the project implemented under this objective is the Office of the Capital Governor, the implementing agency of the Capital Governor is the Highway Development Department, and the general contractor of the project is the 20th Bureau of China Railway Group Corporation.
