Photo competition announced
The head company in Germany announces a photo competition among the employees of all subsidiaries.
The joint venture of "SRP Engineer Consulting Mongolia" LLC, "Avarga Zam" LLC, and "SRP Schneider and Partner Engineer Consult" LLC is the "Sustainable Tourism Development Project" implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism with funding from the Asian Development Bank” is providing consultancy service for the construction of 37.9 km of roads in Khuvsgul province.
As the road is being built in an area of permafrost and swampy soil, which is difficult for engineering and geology, close to the shore of Lake Khuvsgul, as indicated in the feasibility study, the GEOCELL material will be used to stabilize the base of the road and reduce the impact of frost on the road from Khatgal to Khuzuuvchi Shil and Ashikhai.
Work began on testing the technology, which is not widely used in Mongolian road construction. The experts of SRP Schneider und Partner Engineer Consult Ltd from Germany and supervision discussed the technology with all the parties involved in the project, namely the Ministry of Road Transport Development, the Road Transport Development Center, the Khuvsgul Governor's Office, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, road construction companies, representatives of the Project Implementation Unit and the contractor.
