The joint venture of "MIL" LLC and "SRP Engineer Consulting Mongolia" LLC, a design consulting service commissioned by the Ministry of Road Transport Development and the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development of Mongolia to connect Öginuur Sum in Arkhangai Province with the horizontal axis of the Millennium Road, developed the detailed design of the road.
The current unpaved road will run northeast from the centre of Oginuur Sum, crossing the current reinforced concrete bridge over the Orkhon River, crossing the left side of the Orkhon River, passing through places such as Undur Tolgoi Hill and Baga Havtsal Mountain, and connecting to the state road.
As far as the route of the road is concerned, it will generally use the existing dirt road. These alternatives were selected on site during the field survey phase in accordance with local suggestions and river basin conditions.
The road is a collector road of category 2A-Hrz-ZHG-2-80 / with 2 lanes, the traffic area is not demarcated, the estimated speed is 80 km/h / the total length of the road is 11.74 km.
